MICRODERMABRASION

what is microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is a procedure that uses physical exfoliation to remove the outermost layer of skin. We use a diamond-tipped wand to abrade the surface, helping to improve texture, fine lines, and wrinkles and leave skin softer and brighter.

How long do results last?

Results from Microdermabrasion can last anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on the patient’s at-home skin care regimen after their treatment.

What’s the difference between microdermabrasion and dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning and microdermabrasion are both methods of manual exfoliation. Microdermabrasion gently exfoliates the skin using a diamond-tipped wand. Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to exfoliate and also removes vellus hair.

Am I a good candidate?

Microdermabrasion can be used on any skin type.
