AGNES

what is agnes rf?

AGNES RF is uses radio frequency to treat acne and to create tighter skin.

FOR ACNE - To treat acne, we use a device called Agnes RF. Agnes RF uses radio frequency technology to treat acne and utilizes Selective Sebaceous Gland Destruction. Focused radio frequency safely destroys the individual sebaceous gland responsible for an acne spot, preventing it from causing any more acne and eliminating the existing breakout.

FOR SKIN TIGHTENING - The Agnes uses radio frequency technology to tighten the neck and other loose skin, soften deep wrinkles, refine large pores, and shrink specific pockets of fat under the skin to minimize unwanted jowls. Agnes targets pockets of fat on the face that are part of the natural aging process. Agnes safely targets and shrinks these pockets in order to restore a more youthful appearance. Agnes RF is better suited for individuals targeting specific problem areas that have both excess fullness and skin laxity.

Is the treatment painful?

We give you topical numbing to apply in the area(s) that will be treated. Some patients report minor discomfort, but this is temporary.

What is the downtime/post care?

As soon as your treatment is complete you should be free to resume your normal daily activities. There is minimal to no downtime with an Agnes RF treatment. You should feel little to no discomfort during the treatment. Otherwise, we recommend the following to acheive optimal results:

  1. Apply an ice pack 3-5 times per day, 3-5 minutes for each area for the next 3 days.

  2. Keep the area clean from the infection and keep it dry.

  3. Avoid alcoholic drinks for at least 1 week after the treatment.

  4. Report to the office if you keep feeling itchy, or finds swelling, redness, bruises, or other medical conditions from the treated areas.

When will I see results?

Results can be achieved with just one treatment, but we recommend a series of at least 3 treatments for best results. The effects of each treatment will continue to improve over the coming months. This treatment can be repeated every 4-6 weeks.
